The city of Riviera Beach is starting to fine residents for trash violations. See guidelines below. Any violations will result in fines being charged to tenants.
Here’s what you need to know:
· Put your garbage bin at the curb between 6 p.m. the day before and 6 a.m. on your collection day.
· Remove your garbage bin from the curb within 12 hours after collection.
· Use only your own garbage bins. Do NOT use another tenant’s or resident’s garbage bin.
· Use only approved city-provided garbage bins
· Place bins on the curb with 3 feet of clearance on all sides.
· Openings should face the street and contents contained. THE LIDS MUST BE CLOSED!
· Bags placed outside the bin will not be collected.
· Never put bulk items out on yard waste day.
Fines for violating these rules can be significant.
